Zebra Safe-T-Vue 10 temperature indicators
Ideal for blood banks, blood collection centers and transfusion services, Safe-T-Vue 10 attaches directly to blood bags while they are refrigerated or temporarily stored. The indicator changes its color from white to red when the blood or other temperature-sensitive product has reached or exceeded 10°C.
Because it is irreversible, Safe-T-Vue 10 indicates that a higher temperature condition existed even if the temperature eventually returns to a lower level.
Main features of Safe-T-Vue 10 temperature indicators:
✔ For intraoperative storage of blood bags, red blood cells (RBC) or plasma
✔ Indicated temperature: 10°C
✔ Allows the identification of blood products not exposed to heat for storage
✔ Irreversible once a color change has been identified
✔ Provides accuracy of +/-0.4°C
Medical professionals can be assured of compliance with temperature requirements because Safe-T-Vue responds to the critical temperatures defined by AABB and 21 CFR 640 standards and is irreversible once a color change has been identified.
Safe-T-Vue indicators promote accountability during transport, providing visibility to confidently identify products that have never exceeded temperature thresholds, allowing them to be reissued and minimizing waste.
How to use Zebra Safe-T-Vue 10 temperature indicators:
✔ Remove the bag of blood, plasma or RBC from the storage refrigerator
✔ Remove the label from the indicator to expose the adhesive
✔ The Safe-T-Vue indicator is attached directly to the bag of blood, plasma or RBC
✔ Peel off the foil to expose the red and white circles

Zebra's Safe-T-Vue 10 temperature indicators will constantly monitor product temperature throughout the life of the unit.
