Zebra RFD2000 RFID reader

The Zebra RFD2000 RFID reader gives mobile terminals the ability to decode and encode RFID tags. The RFD2000 is compatible with Zebra TC20 mobile computers.

The Zebra RFD2000 RFID reader provides the following features:

• high ergonomics - the reader can be easily used in the inventory process due to its compact design and low weight;
• precise scanning of RFID tags – the Zebra RFD2000 is built specifically for use with the Zebra TC20 mobile terminal. It offers the same performance as a dedicated RFID reader;
• easy mounting – the reader is quickly attached to the terminal thanks to the intuitive connection method;
• scan in triggerless mode – you have the possibility to scan all RFID tags within the range of the RFD2000 reader without having to press and hold the scan button;
• high-performance battery - battery with a capacity of 3160 mAh and PowerPrecision+ technology that allows the use of the reader during an entire work shift.

The RFD2000 has a technology called EPC Global Gen 2 v2 RFID that can encode tags that cannot be cloned. Moreover, the information contained in the tag is hidden and undetectable until it is read with the RFD200.

The RFID reader connects to the Zebra TC20 through the 8-pin connector available on the terminal.
