The Honeywell Eclipse MK5145 is a 1D barcode reader available at a competitive price.

The Eclipse 5145 barcode scanner is manufactured with the aim of making it more efficient and easier to use, so it benefits from:

• CodeGate : allows easy scanning of a single barcode from a compact group of several codes;
• CodeSense : when a barcode is detected, the scanner is automatically switched from "pulse" mode (reading by pressing the button) to continuous mode;
• Powerlink : the same communication and power cables are used as for the Honeywell Voyager and Orbit series;
• MetroSet2 : firmware update software compatible with any operating system.

Honeywell Eclipse has a laser scanning engine, so, compared to a CCD model, it has a longer reading distance (0-14cm), a wider scanning field and a very good scanning speed (72 scans/sec. ). For users, this means that they can capture 1D barcodes of different densities from a distance, without having to bring the product or the invoice in close proximity to the reader. In addition, the further the barcode to be captured is at a greater distance, the wider the scanning line is, which allows an efficient reading.

Although it is a light device - it weighs only 100g, it is reliable and withstands multiple drops on concrete from 1.5m. Honeywell Eclipse is excellently protected from the action of dust and splashes of water and can be used in environments with extreme temperatures (0-40°C).
