The DS5502-LB is part of the new DS55 series from Zebra and represents a range of high-performance landline barcode readers characterized by a compact and modern design. These readers offer advanced scanning capabilities and have been specially designed for use in medical laboratories, clinics or pharmacies.

It can be disinfected and cleaned whenever necessary without affecting performance and thanks to the special LED with white lighting, DS55-LB can be used even in intensive care units without disturbing patients. In addition, it benefits from IP54 protection factor against splashes of water and dust particles and can withstand falls on concrete from 1.5 meters.

Thanks to the megapixel sensor offered by Zebra, but also to the PRZM technology, these readers offer a 184% higher resolution than their predecessor DS457 and can decode even the most damaged 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as OCR.

This reader ensures flawless scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes that can be found in laboratories and pharmacies, from high-density codes to codes printed on blood collection bags, vials, or medical equipment.
