The Datalogic PowerScan 9501-RT readers are the first that can scan the new types of codes integrated in the product packaging - digital watermarks . These types of codes contain all the necessary information that is also in regular barcodes, but they are part of the product's normal packaging and are not visible to the naked eye.

The Datalogic PowerScan PM9501-RT combines the durability of an industrial reader with the flexibility of a retail reader to give you a 2D barcode reader that can successfully meet any challenge in the retail environment. This model has a removable battery with a capacity of 2150mAh, graphic display with 6 default rows and 21 columns, adjustable font, white background light and 16 programmable keys.

PowerScan PM9501-RT is made to last, built according to the model of industrial readers, resisting at least 50 falls on concrete from 2 meters and the IP65 protection factor it has, means that the reader is completely protected from dust and that it will not be affected by humidity.

The imager combines omnidirectional reading capabilities with special optical characteristics, thus, it can capture any type of barcode, regardless of positioning, and Datalogic's Motionix technology allows the reader to sense the user's movements to automatically change the scanning mode, so you will get every give the desired results.

The PM9501-RT reader is well balanced and easy to use, with an intuitive aiming system, and for users this means comfort and scanning barcodes from the first, without unnecessary requests. Optionally, you can use a stand for reading barcodes in hands-free mode, and for manual scanning, the reader has an ergonomic shape, so workers will not get tired after several hours of work. The work speed is improved thanks to the 3GL system, this system consists in the projection of a green dot on the barcode, the lighting of the two green LEDs (one on the upper part of the reader and the other on the handle) and the emission of a sound signal, they will always assure you of successfully performing the reading.

The PowerScan PM9501-RT readers use the Star2.0 wireless system (system created by Datalogic) to connect to the cradle, so you will have a stable connection over a distance of up to 50 meters. The data is automatically transmitted to the cradle on a frequency of 433MHz, this frequency does not interfere with the Wi-Fi infrastructure, and thanks to the connection security standards, your data is safe. In addition, it has a lower energy consumption compared to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.
